REPAIRS:
Currently I do not have a rivet machine, I never needed one before as I always had access to one at a rink. I can personally repair some minor loose rivers and offer unofficial suggestions on DIY repairs, at your own risk of course, no charge obviously as this is not an officially offered service.
REMEMBER:
Your skates are probably your biggest singular hockey investment or a close second to sticks. Dry your blades and use skate soakers to and from the rink and the sharpener. I even usually wear mine to the ice as many rinks have dirt and concrete obstacles to overcome. Skating outside will dull your blades faster due to dirt and other contaminants. At home, take out your insoles, dry your skates inside and out with a towel and allow to air dry along with ALL your gear. Socks will also keep your skates from smelling horrible and collecting all kinds of biology. They also save my nose a little. Rust and nicks will mess your steel up quick and shorten the length of time you can go between sharpenings. I personally use a front load washer to wash most my gear, other than skates and helmet, never put plastic or metal in the dryer though!
